The Scheme
The Greater London Green HEART Scheme is pilot for a simple registration scheme available to all those living or working in Greater London which recognises and records an individual's level of skills and experience.

Level of Registration
GOLD Card
For those with Level 3 qualifications (ie NVQ Level 3, Edexcel National Diploma/Certificate, RHS Diploma or higher) or who have successfully completed a recognised apprenticeship scheme (eg Royal Parks etc.)

Blue Card
either
i. Industry Accreditation (for a limited period)
This requires applicants to produce references from an employer or (if self employed) a selection of customers, confirming that the person has worked at a crafts person level for at least three years.

ii. Qualification
For those with Level 2 qualifications including City & Guilds 022 courses, BTEC First Diploma, RHS General Certificate etc.

Red Card
This is available for all those on a work based recognised training programme who have completed a basic safety awareness course and are developing their skills.

Green Card
This is available for all students currently undertaking a course at a recognised College to develop their skills and knowledge and who have completed a basic safety awareness course.

 


Links with BALI Scheme
The Greater London Green HEART Scheme is administered for Green HEART by BALI as part of their registration of landbased operatives scheme (ROLO). It is open to all those employed in the landscape industries whether they be employed, self employed or an employer themselves.
